UNICORN'S NEW SILK MILK as a combing or spinning Milk

In her book “The Spinner’s Book of Fleece” Beth Smith suggests:

UNICORN FIBRE RINSE** as a spinning or combing MILK

Here are her recommendations:  Before combing or spinning, it is a good idea to spritz your fibers with a little combing milk.

Try our new SILK MILK 4oz bottle

It works like a dream and does not go rancid.

Silk Milk cuts down on static and helps control the fibers, making them easier to comb.

You can add a few drops of the combing Silk Milk to the fiber and work it through with your fingers or spray directly on the loaded fiber.

It acts like a conditioner does for human hair.

You only need a small amount to reduce static electricity and help the combs run smoothly through the fiber.

The fibers should not feel wet.

Note: As a result of using a spinning oil, rather than Unicorn Silk Milk*, roving may get sticky.

**Silk Milk has a hint of lavender.
